Pattern01. I need ~ "~가 필요해"

 eg. I need it. /  I need that book. / I need glue. / I need prescription.

            cf. Fill the prescription. (처방전대로 지어주세요) 

Pattern 02. I need to ~ "~하는 것이 필요해"

 We need to talk. "우리 얘기할 필요가 있다." 

 I need to lose weight. "난 살 뺄 필요가 있다."  

 We need to rent a car. "우리는 차를 빌릴 필요가 있다." 

 I need to get a haircut. "나는 이발을 할 필요가 있다." cf. get a perm - 퍼머하다. 

Pattern03. I nee you to ~ "나는 네가 ~해 줬으면 좋겠어." 

 I need you to help me. "나는 네가 날 도와주길 원해" (조금 약한 want)

 I need you to check the schedule. 

 I need you to clean your room. " 방 청소 좀 했으면 좋겠어."

Pattern 04. Do I need ~ "내가 ~ 해야 하니?" 

 Do I need to wait ? "내가 기다려야 하니?"

 Do I need to pay for it? "내가 이걸 내야 하나요?"

 Do I need to be there? "거기 꼭 가야 하나요?"   

Pattern 05. All you need is ~ "~에게 필요한 건 ~ 뿐이에요."

 All you need is love. "네게 필요한 건 사랑 뿐이에요" 

 All you need is Mr. kim 

 All I need is you. "내가 필요한 건 당신이야" 

Pattern 01. I was ~ 나는 ~였어요.

 I was stupid/ I was foolish. 

 I was a bank teller/banker (banker-은행가, bank teller-은행원) 

 I was a good son.  

 I was a happy. 

 I was foolish then. 

Pattern 02. I wasn't ~ 나는 ~가 아니었어요. 

 I wasn't tired. 

 I wasn't greedy. (탐욕스러운)

 I wasn't lucky. 

 I wasn't convinced. (convince-설득하다) 나는 확신이 없었어요. 

 I wasn't excited about it. 

Pattern 03. Were you ~? 당신은 ~였나요? 

 Were you a cop? 경찰이셨어요? 

 Were you a doctor? 

 Were you with him? 

 Were you examined? 진찰 받으셨나요? 

Pattern 04. I was told to ~ 나는 ~하라고 들었어요. 

 I was told to do it. 그것 하라고 들었어요. 

 I was told to wait. 

 I was told to make a call. 시켜서 전화하는 거에요. 

 I was told to help you. 

 I was told to give it to you. 당신에게 주라고 시켰어요. 

Pattern 05. I was wondering if ~ . 나는 인지 궁금해 하고 있었어요. (혹시 ~일까 해서요)  

 I was wondering if you were coming. 나는 네가 올지 궁금했어.  

 I was wondering if I was dreaming. 나는 내가 꿈 꾸는지 생각했어. 

 I was wondering if it was true. 나는 그것이 진실인지 궁금했어.

Pattern 02. I have some ~~ 나는 좀 있어. 

 I have some questions. / I have a question. / I have some bad news. / I have some back pain. 

Pattern 03. I don't have ~~ 나는 안 가지고 있어. 

 I don't have time for this/that/you/myself/it. / I don't have a clue.(잘 모르겠다. 단서가 없다) 

 I don't have the money. 

Pattern 04. Do you have any ~ ? 당신은 ~이 있어요? 

 Do you have any questions? / Do you have any changes? / Do you have any plans?

Pattern 05. I didn't have any ~. 나는 ~가 없었어. 

 I didn't have any money/time. / I didn't have any choice.
